Case study
Men's smart casual: polished without a suit
Request: "Light summer style, linen, cotton, light tones, no suit."
The styling problem
Summer menswear can collapse into either beachwear or officewear. The useful target here was ease with structure: breathable fabrics, lighter color, and enough polish for a city day, lunch, or casual meeting.
What the lookbook tested
The safe direction uses a clean linen shirt and straight trousers. The balanced direction brings in a polo, soft shorts, and suede texture. The more relaxed version keeps the long-sleeve linen idea but softens the whole outfit through rolled sleeves and lighter pants.
What this proves
The value is not one exact product. It is seeing that fabric, shoe choice, and proportion carry most of the style. Once the direction is clear, product search becomes much easier.
